Isophthalic Acid is based on Meta-Xylene and belongs to the group of Carboxylcic Acids. It rises of the oxidation of m-Xylol. Isophthalic acid serve to produce
aramids, polyesters, highly performance electroinsulating enamel and
alkyd resin without oil. Isophthalic acid is an aromatic dicarbolic acid and used in production of resins.
