Pentaerythritol is a white, crystalline powder and is being produced from Formaldehyde with Acetaldehyde. It is a organic compound. Derivatives of pentaerythritol are components of varnishes, olefin antioxidants, PVC stabilizers, alkyd resins and tall oil esters.
