Vessel delays as situation in the Read Sea region escalates further

Attacks on commerical vessels in the last couple of days

As the situation in the Read Sea region has further escalated and as significant challenges

persist concerning martime security, more and more carriers  have decided to stop

passages through the Read Sea and in consequence the Suez Canal with immediate effect.

They started to reroute their vessels via the Cape of Good Hope on their journey to Europe,

which leads to additional transit time.

As of today - 20.12.2023 - we already have to notice vessel delays for January 2024 arrival

of 3-4 weeks !
